SSL or TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser’s address bar changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser bar.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies and does not use any analysis or tracking tools. That is why there is no cookie banner.

Server log files

The host of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits. These are: browser type and browser version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and the security of our website.

Contact form

If you send us an enquiry via the contact form, the details you enter in the form (name, email address, phone number and your enquiry) will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

Technically, the form is processed via the “Netlify Forms” service of our host Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, USA. Netlify stores the form entries and forwards them to us by email. The transfer of data to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission.

The processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Enquiries by email, phone or fax

If you contact us by email, phone or fax, your enquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) if this has been requested.

The data you send to us via contact enquiries will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent to storage or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

Communication via WhatsApp

Among other things, we use the instant messaging service WhatsApp to communicate with our customers and other third parties. The provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland.

Communication takes place via end-to-end encryption (peer-to-peer), which prevents WhatsApp or other third parties from gaining access to the communication content. However, WhatsApp receives access to metadata generated in the course of the communication (e.g. sender, recipient and time). We would also like to point out that, according to its own statement, WhatsApp shares personal data of its users with its US-based parent company Meta. Further details on data processing can be found in WhatsApp’s privacy policy at: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/#privacy-policy.

WhatsApp is used on the basis of our legitimate interest in communicating as quickly and effectively as possible with customers, prospective customers and other business and contractual partners (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If corresponding consent has been requested, the data processing is based exclusively on that consent; it can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
