Will I look “frozen” afterwards?
No, that is not our goal. We dose so that your facial expressions are preserved and you look more relaxed, not stiff.
When will I see the result?
The effect builds up over a few days. After about two weeks you will see the full result, and if needed we look at it together at a free follow-up appointment.
How long does the treatment last?
This varies from person to person and depends, for example, on muscle strength, metabolism and lifestyle. You will get an estimate for your case in the consultation.
Does the treatment hurt?
Most people only feel a brief prick. The needle is very fine and the treatment only takes a few minutes.
What do I need to bear in mind afterwards?
Please don’t lie down for four hours, don’t massage the treated areas, and avoid exercise, sauna and alcohol for 24 hours.
What is a lip flip?
In a lip flip, a small amount of Botox is placed into the lip muscle. This makes the upper lip roll slightly outwards so it looks fuller, without any filler.
What is Barbie Botox?
With Barbie Botox, the trapezius muscle between the neck and shoulder is relaxed. This makes the neck and shoulders look slimmer and the silhouette more elegant.
Botox or hyaluronic acid?
Botox relaxes muscles and so smooths expression lines, for example on the forehead and around the eyes. Hyaluronic acid fills wrinkles and lost volume, for example nasolabial folds or the corners of the mouth. The two often complement each other, and we discuss this in the consultation.
Who should not be treated?
For example pregnant or breastfeeding women and people with certain neuromuscular conditions. We clarify this thoroughly beforehand in a consultation.
