The Observ photographs your face under six different types of light. Each one shows something different, and together they give a complete picture of your skin, from the surface to the depths. Most people have never experienced a skin analysis at this level.
Daylight
Your skin as others see it. The starting point for every comparison.
Cross-polarised light
Filters out the surface and reveals redness, small veins and pigmentation underneath.
Parallel-polarised light
Emphasises the surface: texture, pores, fine lines and irregularities.
UV light
Makes sun damage visible, often years before it rises to the surface as spots.
Simulated UV
Shows how pigmentation is distributed in the depths, without any additional UV exposure for your skin.
Wood’s light
Indications of moisture, sebum and bacterial activity in the pores, important for blemishes and acne.

Good to know
Does the skin analysis hurt?
No. Only images with different types of light are taken. The device does not touch your skin.
Do I have to come without make-up?
Ideally, yes. If you come wearing make-up, we gently cleanse your skin first so that the images are meaningful.
How long does the analysis take?
Around 20 minutes, including evaluation of the results. Taking the images themselves only takes a few minutes.
Can the Observ detect wrinkles early?
Yes, the Observ makes fine lines and changes in skin structure visible, often before you notice them in the mirror. It also shows UV damage, which accelerates skin ageing. That way we can prevent early and in a targeted way with the right skincare or treatment.

The skin analysis with Observ costs €49, including the conversation and evaluation. You find out exactly what was analysed and which treatment suits you best.
Is the skin analysis credited?
Yes. If you book a treatment package or a course with us after the skin analysis, we credit the full €49 towards the price. The analysis is then practically free for you.
Does this replace a visit to a dermatologist?
No. The skin analysis is a cosmetic analysis and not a medical diagnosis. If we notice anything that should be checked by a doctor, we tell you openly.
